Let's get a sneak peek at the interview with the author.
About the Author -
Dildarul Karim Dildar is a passionate medical student and an emerging literary voice from Araria, Bihar, whose journey reflects a rare and compelling fusion of science and art. Currently in his final year of MBBS at Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College, Gaya, he stands at a unique crossroads where clinical precision meets creative depth. For Dildarul, medicine is not merely a profession in the making—it is a lens through which he observes life, while poetry becomes the language through which he interprets it.
Balancing the intellectual rigor of medical education with the emotional sensitivity of a poet, Dildarul has authored more than 70 ghazals/nazms/poems that delve into themes of longing, resilience, solitude, and quiet introspection. His writing often carries the subtle imprint of hospital life—echoes of silent corridors, unspoken patient stories, and the fragile boundary between hope and despair. In this space, he explores the delicate intersection between clinical detachment and human connection, portraying how a medical student evolves not only in knowledge but also in empathy.
His debut poetry collection, Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas, stands as a heartfelt embodiment of these reflections. The work is a carefully woven tapestry of emotions—drawn from lived experiences in hospital wards, contemplative nights under moonlit skies, and the silent dialogues between the heart and mind. Through this collection, Dildarul seeks to preserve fleeting moments, capturing what he describes as “a little forever” within the transient nature of life.
Beyond his individual authorship, Dildarul has also contributed as a co-author to several poetry anthologies, showcasing his collaborative spirit and expanding presence within contemporary literary circles. His growing influence as a writer has been recognized with the Best Pensmith Award 2026, conferred by HS Publication, and the National Emblem Excellence Recognition Award 2026, conferred by Cosmic Inception Publication. Further affirming his place among promising literary voices, Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas has been selected for nomination for The Legacy of Literature Award—an important milestone that highlights both his talent and potential and selected for Best Book in Profound Hindi Poetry by Book Channel.
What truly distinguishes Dildarul is the profound impact of his medical training on his creative expression. Daily encounters with illness, recovery, and human vulnerability have deepened his understanding of life’s complexities. These experiences naturally find their way into his poetry, enriching it with authenticity and emotional resonance. While medicine demands clarity, logic, and decisiveness, his writing embraces ambiguity, emotion, and reflection—creating a harmonious balance between two seemingly contrasting worlds.
Rooted in Bihar yet reaching beyond geographical and disciplinary boundaries, Dildarul Karim Dildar represents a new generation that refuses to be confined to a single identity. He is both a healer in the making and a storyteller at heart, driven by a simple yet profound pursuit—to understand, feel, and express the human condition in its truest form.
As he continues his journey, Dildarul is quietly but steadily carving a distinct identity for himself. Whether through the discipline of medicine or the fluidity of poetry, his voice remains thoughtful, empathetic, and deeply resonant—marking him as a promising figure to watch in both fields.

Interview Questions & Answers
Q1. What does the title convey about the central theme of the book?
Ans 1 - The title Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas itself is deeply expressive and sets the emotional tone of the book.
“Kulliyat” traditionally refers to a collection or compilation of works.
“Ehsaas” means feelings, emotions, or inner sensitivity.
So together, the title conveys “a collection of emotions”—but not just random feelings.
‘Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas’ represents complete emotions—not fragments, but a whole spectrum, where every feeling finds its place, from the deepest pain to the quietest joy.
Q2. Which emotion in the book resonated with you as an author, and why?
Ans 2 - In Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas, the emotions that resonated with me most as an author are longing, self-reflection, and universal truth—each flowing into the other.
Longing was where it all began. It’s not just about missing someone, but about the quiet spaces they leave behind—the conversations that echo, the feelings that refuse to settle. It gave the book its emotional depth, a sense of something always just out of reach.
From that longing came self-reflection. In the absence of others, you are left with yourself—your thoughts, your flaws, your growth. Writing became a mirror, allowing me to understand not just what I felt, but why I felt it. It turned pain into awareness and silence into meaning.
And somewhere between longing and reflection, I found universal truth. The realization that these emotions are not mine alone—that love, loss, waiting, and healing are shared human experiences. That no matter how personal a feeling seems, it connects us all in unseen ways.
In the end, Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas became more than a collection of emotions—it became a journey from longing, through introspection, to truths that belong to everyone.
Q3. How have you portrayed human feelings differently from typical poetry or prose?
Ans 3 - In Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas, I tried to portray human feelings not as polished, complete thoughts, but as fragments of experience.
Emotions in the book are sometimes unfinished, a bit raw, even contradictory—because that’s how we actually feel them in real life. Not everything is explained, and not everything finds closure.
Instead of describing emotions directly, I often let them linger, allowing the reader to feel rather than just understand.
While the emotions come from deeply personal places, they are written in a way that doesn’t confine them to one story or one person. This allows readers to step into those feelings and find their own meanings within them.
In essence, I didn’t try to present emotions as something to be defined—I presented them as something to be felt, questioned, and lived through.
Q4. How does the language of the book enhance the emotional depth of the writing?
In Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas, the language itself is not just a medium—it becomes an extension of emotion.
I chose to keep the language simple yet layered, so that it feels accessible at first glance, but reveals deeper meanings the more you sit with it.
I also focused on rhythm and flow. The language moves like thought itself—sometimes slow and reflective, sometimes abrupt and fragmented.
A key aspect is the use of restraint. I often hold back from over-explaining a feeling, allowing it to breathe in its own space. This silence within the language gives emotions more weight—because what is left unsaid often lingers longer than what is spoken.
The words are personal, yet not confined—they are open enough for readers to place their own memories and meanings within them. This shared space between writer and reader deepens the emotional connection.
Q5. What is the central theme of the book? Is it aligned with one or more themes?
Ans 5 - The central theme of Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas is the exploration of human emotions in their raw and unfiltered form.
At its core, the book revolves around the idea that feelings are not always clear, complete, or easily understood—they are layered, evolving, and often contradictory. It captures the journey of experiencing emotions rather than trying to neatly define them.
However, the book is not limited to a single theme. It is interwoven with multiple themes that exist alongside and within each other. Themes like longing, self-reflection, love, loss, healing, and universal truth all play significant roles. Each piece touches on a different shade of emotion, yet they all connect to the same underlying essence of ehsaas—the act of deeply feeling.
So while there is a central thread of emotional exploration, the book intentionally embraces multiple overlapping themes, making it more of a journey through feelings than a story with just one fixed idea.
Q6. Which specific piece or line stayed with you as an author, and what made it impactful and special for you?
Ans 6. One piece that has stayed with me :
“देखो तो सही कितना संवारा है तुमने मुझे, यूहीं बिखरा पड़ा था, तुम्हारे आने तक
मैं खुद को आईना में देखूं तो तसव्वुर कर लेता हूं तुम्हारी तस्वीर तक”
What makes this especially impactful for me is the transformation it holds within love. It speaks of a change so deep that it’s no longer external—it reshapes how one sees oneself. The idea that someone’s presence can gather your scattered pieces and quietly make you whole again feels both fragile and powerful.
As an author, this line is close to me because it reflects a love that doesn’t just exist—it transforms. It blurs the boundary between self and the other, where even in solitude, their presence lingers in your reflection, your imagination, your very sense of identity.
What makes it truly special is its soft intensity—there’s no loud declaration, yet it carries depth, gratitude, and surrender all at once.
Q7. How have you connected personal emotions with universal human experiences?
Ans 7. In Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas, I connected personal emotions with universal human experiences by writing from a deeply personal place, but expressing it in an open and unbounded way.
The emotions in the book come from specific moments, thoughts, and inner conflicts that are mine—but I consciously avoided tying them to rigid contexts or detailed narratives. Instead of saying what exactly happened, I focused on how it felt. And feelings, in their pure form, are something everyone understands, regardless of their story.
In essence, I didn’t try to make my emotions universal—I simply made them true. And truth, when expressed sincerely, has a way of belonging to everyone.
Q8. How can the readers relate to the emotions in the book, and can they relate to any of these?
Ans 8. Readers can relate to the emotions in Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas because the book doesn’t present feelings as fixed stories—it presents them as open experiences.
Instead of guiding the reader toward one specific interpretation, the writing leaves space—space for them to pause, to reflect, and to insert their own memories into the lines. A single piece may remind one reader of love, another of loss, and someone else of healing. That openness is what makes the connection personal.
Most people have felt the ache of waiting, the weight of memories, or the quiet process of becoming. When they encounter these emotions on the page, they don’t feel unfamiliar—they feel recognized.
So yes, readers don’t just relate to these emotions—they often find themselves within them. The book becomes less about my experiences as an author and more about their own inner world, reflected back at them in words.
Q9. If you could describe this book in one word, what would it be and why?
Ans 9. If I had to describe Kulliyat-e-Ehsaas in one word, it would be “Becoming.”
Because the book is not just about feeling emotions—it’s about evolving through them. Every piece reflects a shift, a realization, or a quiet transformation. From longing to understanding, from loss to healing, from confusion to clarity—it captures the constant process of turning experiences into growth.
“Becoming” holds that sense of incompleteness and progress at the same time. It suggests that we are never fixed—we are always changing, shaped by what we feel.
