Day 2 Prompt - Nature.

By - Dr. Romila Chitturi.

The morning breaks with golden light,

Upon the hills where shadows flee.

The sun embraces every height,

And wakes the sleeping, ancient tree.

Within the woods, a silence grows,

Where mossy roots dive deep and wide.

The gentle breeze softly blows,

And secrets of the forest hide.

The river carves a winding path,

With crystal waters pure and clear.

It holds no sorrow and no wrath,

But sings a song for all to hear.

High above, the clouds drift by,

Like ships upon a sapphire sea.

They wander through the endless sky,

In patterns wild, bold, and free.

As seasons turn from cold to warm,

The earth prepares a grand display.

We find a shelter from the storm,

In nature’s grace, by night and day.

So let us walk upon this ground,

With reverence for the world we see.

For here true peace is always found,

In nature’s perfect harmony.

By - Dr. Sarvani

Sitting by the shore,

I saw the sea —

greeting me with every tide,

washing away the chaos,

calming my mind.

Flowing with words,

I saw the inner me.

The waves crashed —

just like my thoughts,

some small, some huge,

all rising and falling,

clearing the mind in between.

Whispering winds

carried their secrets

from distant horizons

to the families

waiting by the shore.

I watched the ocean

Reclaim its waters

each time they rose and fell —

just like us,

reclaiming ourselves

through every success

and every failure.

In the hush of dawn when the skies blush awake,
Nature whispers truths that no textbooks ever make.

A river hums softly, "Keep moving, don't you fear.
Even rocks bow aside when your purpose is clear.

Mountains stand tall, yet humble in grace.
Teaching strength isn't loud; it's a steady-paced race.

It breathes courage through shadows and light.
Growth requires both sunshine and night.

A leaf breaks free, dancing wild in the breeze,
Reminding us, change is the art of living with ease.

The ocean rolls forward, then retreats with a sigh, saying progress is messy, but you still have to try.
Flowers bloom boldly where no one can see. Proving your worth doesn't need an audience to be.

The clouds float along, unhurried, unencumbered, untethered,
Whispering, "Let go… you'll feel lighter inside."
Birds stitch the sky with fearless flight.
Teaching hope lifts you even in the fading light.
And nature, in silence, tells again— "You fall, you rise… that's the story of humans."
So walk with the wind and let your worries unbend.

For Nature is the teacher, the guide, and the friend.

Title - Trees.

With open arms, they stand there.
Covered with green in rain, in winters bare.

It's a view that is everywhere,
Not something rare.

But have we seen how they care?
For every little bird out there,
For those chirpy squirrels looking for shelter?

They teach us how to share,

The strong winds they often dare.

Spreading warmth, food, and even water

They are the wonders of nature.

This is the time we should be fair,

Stop cutting them, and spare.

For them, we breathe fresh air,

The greenery, the trees- they are.

We see or not see, they are forever

For some as shelter, and as inspiration for some writers.
