In the month of September we got our winners of essay writing competition of Lessons they learnt from the epic Ramayana and they have beautifully displayed this through their essays and today we will display them in front of you.

3rd Place Winner -
Krithika Sudarsanam

Unlike Mahabharata, Ramayana has few characters and its unique feature is that man can have cordial relationship with other living beings too. The first and foremost lessons is the medians towards parents (biological or fostered) ones; simultaneously according to me and excellent example of sibling bondage: to site a few ones are volunteering of Lakshmana ( the  sibling )to go to forest. Bharata's (the third younger one) dedication and maturity towards respecting the seniority.

Despite Lord himself l being incarnated as a human, the lord followed and obeyed all the earthly rules such as obedience to parents and reverence to the teachers and Gurus.

Lord Rama maintained super balance by establishing a marvelous leadership skills by sacrificing his personal life; simultaneously he fulfilled the role of a dutiful husband by sending his long to her home for her first pregnancy.

Though the lessons learnt endless I wish to conclude by the most inspired lesson for me from Lanka.
Ravana, even if had kidnapped Sita there is no even a single instance of any disrespectful act from ravana's plan or from himself to prove his masculinity. In fact, it is believed that Ravana was waiting for sita's concern to marry him. (Different regions have different explanations for kidnapping of Sita by Ravana).

This is the most important  and an inspired lesson for today's world - the need of hour.
