Poem -
Title - The Victory Tears
Oh, my mind is saying.
What disaster has been made?
Oh, I, Sita, what sin have I done,
To lose my beloved Sun?
But praising of His glory
I cannot sit in my fury.
For I realise a noise in my ear,
Saying, “Don’t worry my dear”.
I slept and wept through day and night
But I saw an ultimate depth of my sight.
My eyes sparked with delight
As fireworks brightened up the sky.
Several heads lay scattered
Rain of arrows splattered.
All I could do was to wait
Until the gods sprinkled blossoms.
Vanaras sprang here and there.
And all I could see was His lotus eyes.
Along with the vigorous war;
A star shone in the corners of Lanka’s light.
A brand twilight of Ayodhya
Has been born to uproot darkness.
“Oh Rama Rama”, I called
And tears dripped down for glory over evil.
