Letters to Yourself Campaign (Special Letters)

 

Thought Lantern recently organized a 24-hour challenge where everyone had to write a letter to themselves. Here, we present some of the best letters for your review. 

1st Letter -

Hey You,

Magnificent nerdy. I’m writing this as a legally binding reminder to never, under any circumstances, "tone it down" to make yourself more digestible for the boring people of the world. If your laugh sounds like a broken hyena or you still have that questionable obsession with 90s deep-cuts—keep it. If you have an opinion that makes the room go quiet for a second too long, let it hang there like a masterpiece. You weren’t put on this earth to be a beige-colored wall in someone else’s hallway. Never apologizing for taking up space, for being "too much," or for existing without a filter. The world is full of people trying to be carbon copies of influencers they don't even like. Don't join them. Your rough edges are the best parts; they’re where the character lives.

Stay loud, stay strange, and for the love of everything holy, keep wearing that confidence that makes people ask, "Where would you even wear that?"
The answer is: everywhere.

Be unapologetically you. Everyone else is already taken, and frankly, they aren't half as entertaining.

But those are days bygone.

Now a lonely life with children grown up. All are busy with themselves.

How does it seem?

Even parents, one no more and the other one too old, so random calls now and then.

You must be missing those times very much, na.

I understand, but we are puppets in God's hands.

Even I can't help you with it. So, dear myself move ahead along with the times and learn to live life as it comes.
