Nectar of Creative Poetry.

 Recently, Thought Lantern organized a poetry writing competition. Yet again, the winners have created a huge impact on our minds, which not only blew us away but also made us think that creativity has no boundaries whatsoever. So, here we present in front of you some of the heart-warming poetry that changed our perspective completely. 




1st Winner Reubenna Dutta. 

A piece of poetry that flowed from her heart. 

Title - The Boat.

As I sit at the banks of the lake,

Looking forward eagerly to a break,

My eyes got a glimpse of the boat,

Empty was it, swaying on the water, afloat.

The serene beauty of the surrounding trees,

Reflecting around it on the water, oh what peace!

Who is the boat waiting for?

Is it someone who lives nearby, or somebody living ashore?

Maybe it belongs to no one,

I want to ride on it, but no, I decide to leave it alone.

Some moments are better to be seen,

And just to be felt from our senses within.


2nd Winner Poornima Sivaraman.


Every word felt homely. 


                         Title - Caring. 
                    Can caring be bought from a shop?
Or is it sometimes that we learn by watching the elders at home?

Children  are like  little puppets,
If elders show care to all
Even to the pets at home,
Children  grow with the seed of love,
Planted deep in their hearts.

The same applies in schools,
And the society in which they grow. 

You cannot  command,
" Go and get some care and come."
It's a value to be sown early,
Gently instilled in young minds.

3rd Winner Deepikha Barathan. 
A heart filled with patriotism.

Igniting Imagination in Young Minds.

  On 8th October 2025, Thought Lantern, in collaboration with Cambridge Montessori School Sector 20, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, organized a Storytelling competition. This event was not only a testament to children's imagination but also a chance to encourage them to come forward and narrate stories lying inside their minds and in the corner of their hearts. This is also an open message that Thought Lantern openly supports young talent, and without any discrimination, we create a safe place for these young minds to open up freely. This event was a success; every teacher and student put their best foot forward and supported Thought Lantern.
