Golden Reverie: An Ode to Lakshmi Puja
The crisp autumn air, a sweet, saffron whisper,
As twilight descends and the sun starts to sliver.
The earth holds its breath, for a moment serene,
Awaiting the radiance of a most sacred scene.
Through every clean home, from the shelf to the floor,
Small lamps flicker bright, at the window and door.
The earthen Diyas like stars brought to ground,
Chasing the darkness that gathers around.
On the altar, the Goddess, in crimson and gold,
Her merciful tale, eternally told.
The Lotus she sits on, in full, gentle bloom,
A promise of purity dispelling all gloom.
From the first silent hour till the last Aarti rings,
The hopeful devotion the whole family brings.
Maa Lakshmi descends on the homes of the kind,
